Hanna Gudjonson is a Chinese-Icelandic photographer who makes nude self-portraits as a way to push the limits of her own vulnerability and process danger and trauma. She has exhibited her work internationally in venues such as CICA Museum (Seoul, Korea), DNA Galleries (Oklahoma City, OK), Praxis Gallery (St. Paul, MN), Arc Gallery (San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL), and Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (Los Angeles, CA). Her work has been published in catalogs including Secret by Mary K. Shisler and First produced by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Recently, she won two grants to be an artist-in-residence at the Chateau Orquevaux in France.
